Description
This triangular point features a stout, medium-sized profile with an elliptical cross-sectional shape. Its shoulders are subtly defined and slope upward at a pronounced angle. The stem, characterized by its brevity and breadth, exhibits straight margins and rounded corners at the base, which can vary from a straight to a slightly convex edge. The flaking pattern on this point is irregular and random, often resulting in a crudely finished appearance, indicative of expedient manufacture.

The dimensions of the arrowheads are as follows: they typically range in length from 45 to 48 millimeters, with a mean length of 47 millimeters. In terms of width, they measure between 28 and 36 millimeters, averaging 30 millimeters. The thickness of the arrowheads falls within a range of 10 to 13 millimeters, with an average thickness of 11 millimeters.
Distribution
This type is mainly discovered in the eastern Gulf Coast lowlands of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama, extending into the adjacent area
