Description
This triangular stemmed point exhibits a robust profile, characterized by a medium to large size and an elliptical cross-sectional shape. The blade's curvature is predominantly excurvate, while the shoulders display a range of morphologies, from subtly barbed to gently sloping upward. The stem is distinguished by its straight orientation and rounded basal corners, which converge to form a straight base. The flaking pattern on this point is irregular and non-directional, often referred to as random. Overall, the craftsmanship of this point is relatively crude, suggesting a more expedient manufacturing technique.
Size
The dimensions of the arrowheads are as follows: they typically range from 50 to 85 mm in overall length, with a mean length of 68 mm. The stem measures between 11 and 20 mm in length. The blade width varies from 24 to 44 mm, averaging 33 mm. At the shoulders, the stem width ranges from 17 to 28 mm, while the basal width is between 14 and 20 mm. In terms of thickness, the arrowheads measure 9 to 17 mm, with an average thickness of 11 mm.
