Description
This triangular point exhibits a slender profile, measuring between small to medium in size, with a cross-sectional shape that transitions from flat to a thin ellipse. The blade's curvature is pronounced, with a pronounced inward sweep along the lower three-quarters of its length, while the upper quarter curves sharply towards the apex. The base of the point features a subtle concavity, accompanied by basal corners that are distinctly sharp. Fabricated from a delicate flake, the point's edges display meticulous fine pressure flaking, resulting in a random, non-uniform flaking pattern that encompasses the entire perimeter.
Size
The arrowheads exhibit dimensions within the following ranges: length spans from 20 to 33 mm, while the blade width varies between 10 and 15 mm, and the thickness measures between 2 and 4 mm.
Distribution
This variety is documented in the Tamaulipas Mountains, Mexico.
