Description
This triangular point exhibits a distinctive morphology, characterized by a broad, medium to large size and a tapering stem. Its cross-sectional profile is elliptical, providing a sturdy foundation for the blade. The blade itself displays a pronounced recurvate shape, with a curved tip that tapers inward, while the shoulders flare outward, forming a pronounced edge. Notably, the shoulders are accentuated by strong barbing. The stem, which contracts in width, terminates in a convex base. The flaking pattern observed on this point is random, lacking a discernible, organized sequence.
Size
The dimensions of the arrowheads are as follows: they range in overall length from 28 to 66 mm, with stem lengths varying between 9 and 18 mm. The maximum blade width spans from 28 to 48 mm, while the stem width at the shoulders measures between 9 and 18 mm. In terms of thickness, the arrowheads are between 7 and 10 mm.
