Description

White-slipped ware with black painted designs, including parallel lines, stepped motifs, and hachure. Reserve pottery bridges Mogollon and Cibola traditions and often displays hybrid stylistic traits.

Size

Bowls 18–28 cm in diameter; jars 20–35 cm tall. Walls moderately thick.

Distribution

Produced in west-central New Mexico and parts of eastern Arizona.
