Description

Parowan Fremont Ware belongs to the Fremont cultural tradition of southwestern Utah. Vessels include gray utility jars and bowls with smooth surfaces and occasional simple painted decorations using black mineral pigment. Forms often have thick walls, rounded bodies, and slightly flaring or straight rims.

Size

Typical jars and bowls range from 16–30 cm in diameter or height, with wall thickness around 6–10 mm.
