Description

Kansas City Hopewell pottery includes cordmarked, fabric-impressed, and lightly incised vessels associated with local Hopewell variants. Forms include conoidal jars with straight or slightly everted rims. Decoration is usually light: simple incisions, rocker stamping, or textile impressions.

Jars typically 18–30 cm in rim diameter and 20–36 cm tall; walls 6–10 mm thick.
