Description

Unglazed, unpainted buff to brown ceramics used for everyday cooking, storage, and domestic tasks. Surfaces may be polished, lightly smoothed, or left rough. Cooking vessels often show fire clouding and soot.

Size

Jars 20–45 cm tall; bowls 15–30 cm across; cooking jars 18–32 cm tall.

All Hohokam regions including Phoenix Basin, Tonto Basin, Tucson Basin, and Gila drainage.
