Description
This triangular point features a slender, oval-shaped profile and a moderately sized blade with edges that transition from straight to subtly curved. The shoulder regions exhibit a rounded morphology, inclined at a gentle upward slope. A lengthy, narrow stem extends from the base, maintaining a consistent, straight alignment and terminating in a base that is either straight or slightly bulging. The overall flaking pattern on this point appears to be random, lacking a discernible, organized sequence.
Size
The arrowheads exhibit the following dimensions: an average length of 38 mm and an average thickness of 4 mm. Note that the blade width measurement is not available. These measurements are based on a limited dataset, stemming from a small sample size.
Distribution
This artifact is typically located within the territorial bounds of Suchil Chalchihuites cultural spheres in Durango and Zacatecas.
